Maeştri sătmăreni. Ligeti Antal. Bartók Lajos 343 Antal was one of the most refined landscapist, giving original and full of sensitiveness works, all of these being surrounded by golden and mystical mist, which is in keeping with the legendary places that he traversed with so much respect and faith. Bartók Lajos is less known than Ligeti Antal but he has, also, indisputable merits. Perhaps he has a more important role because he worked a long time on Satu Mare. Even if in the patrimony of Satu Mare County Museum there are not paintings signed by him we can realize the talent that he had because at Kölcsey Ferenc Secondary School are kept 12 frescos signed by Bartók Lajos. They are representing prominent personalities of Reformation, materialized in a typical of past century manner. Even if we know only the works and some other scattered at the collectors from Satu Mare, we can assert that Bár tok Lajos has a worth-while place in Satu Mare Gallery of the painters from the end of XLf'1 century.
