RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Börzsöny Mts "prope pag. Nagymaros, Ördöghegy, in decliv. m. meridion", leg.: Pénzes, 17. V. 1928 [BP]. This record (not confirmed recently) has been completely ignored in Hungarian literature (SIMON 2000). However, the "Visegrád" locality mentioned by JÁVORKA and SOÓ (1951), SOÓ (1966) and SOÓ and KARPÁTI (1968) possibly refers to Ördög-hegy near the town of Nagymaros (northern part of the Visegrád Mts), but located on the opposite side of the Danube (southern part of the Börzsöny Mts). Ördög-hegy is also close to the Slovakian locality of V. pumila (Burda). Fig. 1. Distribution of Valerianella pumila in Hungary.
