(FEICHTINGER 1899, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Anthoxanthum odoratum L. - Sporadic in grassy areas on the foothills; one of the local characteristics is that in Strázsa-hegy this is almost always present in communities developed on sandstone bedrock ("rock grasses", shrub forests, oak woods). (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Anthriscus cerefolium (L.) Hoffm. - On Strázsa-hegy, at the margin of the limestone preferring oak wood; rare. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Anthriscus sylvestris (L.) Hoffm. - It was found on the northwestern slope of Tábla-hegy in a hornbeam-oak wood. Anthyllis vulnearia L. subsp. polyphylla (Kit.) Nym. - Moderately frequent in steppe meadows and dry grassy areas. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Apera spica-venti (L.) P. B. - Occurs in masses along dirt roads, at the edge of degraded "sand grasses" north of Kis-Strázsa-hegy. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heyn. - Very characteristic species in the spring on the south facing sandstone cliffs of Strázsa-hegy. Arabis auriculata Lam. - (BOROS 1920). Arabis turrita L. - Distributed in the limestone preferring oak woods, shrub forests and clearings of the area. (FEICHTINGER 1899, KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Arctium lappa L. - Appears in weed communities of the area. (BAUER 1996). Arctium tomentosum Mill. - Occurs in a wet ditch northeast of Tábla-hegy. Arenaria serpyllifolia L. - Common. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995). Aristolochia clematitis L. - Found in a ditch at Sátorkőpuszta along the bypass road at Dorog. (BAUER 1996). Arrhenatherum elatius (L.) Presl - Usually found sporadically in steppe meadows and mesophilous and hygrophilous herbaceous vegetation, it also occurs in mass in spots. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Artemisia absinthium L. - In degraded "sand grasses" in the environs of Strázsa-hegy, especially frequent along roadsides. (KUN and SEREGÉLYES 1995, BAUER 1996). Artemisia campestris L. - Frequent in "sand grasses". (BOROS 1919, BAUER 1996). Artemisia pontica L. - Occurs in xerotherm forests, forest edges both on Strázsa- and Tábla-hegy; sporadic. (BOROS 1919, FEICHTINGER 1899). Artemisia scoparia W. et K. - Occurs in "sand grasses" of Sátorkőpuszta. (BAUER 1996).
