7 During socialism this event was forbidden. However, the priest Tamás re-introduced it in the early 1960s. Villagers simply made their procession around the church, within its perimeter and along the church road, thus avoiding crossing the village. People emphasize that in spite of the prohibition to perform this event in public, the church was always full on this occasion.
