Kijelentés és pedagógia. Imre Lajos igepedagógiájának néhány sarkalatos tétele Résumé Lajos Imre (1888—1974) was a representative follower of the new reformational theology (also known as „theology of the Word” or as „dialectical theology”) marked by Karl Barth, was an attendee of universities abroad and had a professorship in Kolozsvár. His main field of research was practical theology, with special regard to catechetics and poimenics. By the age of 25, he gained the title of honorary lecturer and got a PhD degree on pedagogy. He was a lecturer of the University of Protestant Theology in Kolozsvár (today Romania) from 1921—1948, until his superannuation. Besides theological subjects, he lectured pedagogy as well. It is worthy of note that after the year of 1948 — called also as the „year of turn” indicating the communist takeover — pedagogy was removed from the schedules of the university courses. Seeds sown by Lajos Imre have been influenced the pedagogical practice and sciences in Transylvania and in Hungary by now, as well as the practice and piety of the Calvinist Church as a whole. 2017-3 Sárospataki Füzetek 21. évfolyam 67
