Abstract

Solomon and the ant

The Story of the Ant belongs to the so-called small Midrashim. Its parallel can be found in the Quran. Its content is connected to wisdom literature, to eschatology and to other stories of the Islamic world. This text is the first Hungarian translation, made on the basis of the manuscript written in Baghdad and published in the Netherlands in 2009.
