The Reverend Dr. Csaba Osváth hopes to involve Hungarians who recently joined our community in an effort to raise consciousness of our common ethnic heritage. The name is from the historic Pilvax Cafe in Pest (Buda and Pest were united in 1873) that was a meeting place for young intellectuals during the 1840’s. One of their leaders was the poet Sándor Petőfi who penned the poem that became the battle cry for the 1848 Hungarian War of Independence.
