2 az USA-ban bejelentve is nyert szabadalmat. A gazdasági élet és a szabadalmak összefüggését az alábbi hisztogram mutatja, ahol a vízszintes tengely az éveket jelzi 1898-tól 1990-ig évenként, a függőleges tengely a lajstromozott szabadalmak darabszámát mutatja. Látható, hogy 1925-ig egyenletes, a technika állandó szinten áll; 1926-ban kezdődik egy fejlődés, mely a nagy világcsőd idején 1932-ben megtorpan a recesszió miatt, de 1933- tól ismét emelkedik. A háborús években és az utána következő instabil gazdaság idején stagnál, 1941-től 1957-ig. Kiugró fejlődés jelentkezik 1958 és 1962 között, majd ismét alacsonyabb szintről, 1968-ban emelkedik és az új mechanizmus befagyasztásával ismét csökken. Az 1973-1976-os évek eredményei még az új mechanizmus lendületéből származnak. Az 1977-től 1984-ig tartó egyenletes, magasabb eredmény a vezetés objektív szemléletének tudható be. Ebből az időszakból származó konstrukciók voltak az export piacon is a cég legeredményesebb termékei. It can be seen, that until 1925 the technique is at a steady, stable level; in 1926 it begins to develop and stopped because of the recession during the world-wide crisis in 1932, but it is going to develop from 1933 again. It stagnates during the waryears and the subsequent instable economy, from 1941 until 1957. A significant development appears between 1958 and 1962, then from a lower level again, increases in 1968, and by freezing of the new system of economic motivators decreases again. The result of the years of 1973-1976 are still originated from the impulse of the new system of economic motivators.
