Vienna, 8 November 1786 39 Resolution of Joseph II on the establishment of the veterinary department at the University of Pest and on Sándor Tolnay's appointment to the professorship, in accordance with the motion of the Court's Educational Committee /the motion is dated from 27 September 1786/. 2. Buda, 12 December 1786 39 The Council of Governor-General informs the University of establishing the veterinary department and of appointing Sándor Tolnay to the professorship, on the ordinance of the Chancellery. 3. Vienna, 3 January 1787 40 The Chancellery informs the Council of GovernorGeneral of the further resolutions concerning the beginning of veterinary training and the acquisiton of the instruments necessary for the department. /The Council of Governor-General's relating order on the same subject is dated from 6 February 1787/. 4.
