Rákóczi War. He also draws our attention to the first appearance of the Hungarian small change because earlier the existence of this kind of money was attributed to the reign of Maria Theresa. He also characterises these types of money on the basis of their external features. Our book wants to attract the reader with illustrations to bring the topics closer. The book starts with a study summing up the history of historiography of Székesfehérvár. The reader learns about the people who dealt with the history of Székesfehérvár, their career and their most significant works. We would also like to draw the reader's attention to the bibliography and the notes at the end of each study which help everybody to get more information about the given period. We are hoping to have published a useful source of information, thanks to the Foundation of Alcoa that made it possible to realize this project.
