Until the middle of October 1945 the Sanctuary and the Transept were roofed, the pulling down of the damaged parts of the main front is going on, and the roof of the Oratory has been rebuilt already. There are, however, still many sacrifices to be brought, but we believe in God's Grace and hope for the help of generous souls, so that we may achieve our work with success to our wonderful Cathedral, the greatest treasure of Savaria-Szombathely, restored and renewed, as beautiful as before.
