A totally different overall effect can be achieved using the same main protagonist, central element, as I change the style around it, while I also change the mood. I am often attracted by modern simplicity, by pure elegance, butát other times I like to delve into a baroque style, to accumulate and thicken (if allowed for by the given style and client). A good final result requires the objects and instruments used to not simply mean products to me, but that they also trigger a kind of warmth in me. In food styling, the dishes presented are intimately connected to the implements through the variation of surfaces, textures, colours and forms, and this is an area in which a photographer and stylist working in harmony can create a product that mirrors our will, while at the same time enabling an emotional reaction to begin within the reader. A feeling of ‘that's familiar', or 7 want that to become familiar'."
