CÍM NÉLKÜL / UNTITLED, 2015 Koncepció és fotográfia / Creative concept and Photography: Toiletpaper Styling: Francesca Cetis Szerkesztői anyag a New York Times magazinnak Editorial for New York Times Magazine Born in 2010, TOILETPAPER is an artist's magazine created and produced by the Italian artists Maurizio Cattelan and the photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari. Ever since its first issue, TOILETPAPER has created a world that displays ambiguous narratives and a troubling imagination. Combining commercial photography with twisted narratives and surrealistic imagery, the result is a publication that is itself a work of art which, through its accessible form as a magazine and its wide distribution, challenges the limits of the contemporary art economy. Maurizio Cattelan is an Italian artist born in Padova. His personal art practice has brought frequent attention to the discourse of contemporary art in modern culture. Cattelan’s work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions, and the venues have included the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York; the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles; and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. Photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari was bom and raised in Milan. Ferrari achieved early success working with the agencies BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi for clients including Nike, Sony, Campari, Heineken, MTV, as well as the car manufacturers Mercedes Benz, Audi and BMW. www.toiletpapermagazine.org @toiletpapermagazineofficial
