After internships and a position as a freelance assistant in still life and fashion photography, he began working as a freelance photographer in 1998. "Photography is about interaction in so many ways! A portrait photographer has to interact with his model, that's easy to understand. But there's so much more. The focal length is interacting with your film format. The items in your picture are interacting with the light. Your idea is interacting with reality in the moment it becomes your picture.
