Kiss Imre: Szódavíz, egy magyar kultuszital, Szikvíz ipartörténeti album (Budapest, 2008)
A Hazslinszky kínálatból From the catalogue of Hazslinszky impressed when we read Ödön Sùsz' (the President himself) reflections -as he did in the January issue (1931) of Szikvízipar Lapja - about Lajos Zilahy's play entitled A Tésasszony, whose main character was a real soda-maker. The President's words are worth citing, as they give a characteristic picture of the dangers the seltzer men had to face: „...this play is an exclamation to those administering our trade about its poor state after having boomed for such a long time, about the negative trends in this field. (...) The catastrophic economic situation, the great number of rivals everywhere and the appearance of tank- soda had such a negative effect on the makers that this honest but disillusioned Hungarian guy does not even mind his business any longer ... the have a divorce and marry barmaids who, banning tank-soda water in the café, assist the upswing of his business. " From the article we learn that the President himself as an advisor took part in staging the play, moreover he found it so important that he let „his own, patented piccolo syphoned bottles" as props at their disposal. What is more, he got posters made with wordings like: „Soda represents the truth in wine!" or „Seltzer is the healthiest and most refreshing drink."
