S. Nagy Anikó, Rédey Judit: Az utca képeskönyve. Kereskedelmi plakátok és korabeli kritikájuk (1885–1945) (Bpudapest, 2006)

Two talented, Hungarian graphic artists have become poster Olympians: György Konecsni and György Kling, have fought their way up among the best Hungarian poster artists over the last couple of decades. King Faud presented them with a gold cop at the international poster exhibition in Rome for their tourism poster. This constitutes a national and world success that is well deserved by these two excellent Hungarian talents. (Reklámélet, May 1936) Sándor, Mihalik. Tourism Posters and Photographs The works exhibited for the national competition to promote Transylvania demonstrate the heartening fact that Hungarian poster culture is being cultivated by experienced hands. The jury awarded first and second place to the works of György Konecsni who is also amongst the best on an international level. His poster took first prize and depicts a finely stylised, large, female figure in Torockó dress. He places a typical four-tower Transylvanian church in the background and he completes the background with a range of snow-covered peaks. He works so skilfully with the proportions and colours that he manages to attain a monumental effect. (Magyar Iparművészet, 1/1941)
