Missae sanctorumfranciscanorum RESTAURAREA CĂRŢII MISSAE SANCTORUM j FRANCISCANORUM, VENEŢIA, 1710 Rezumat Cartea scrisă în limba latină a fost tipărită, în Veneţia, în anul 1710. Este o tipăritură cu cerneală de tipar neagră şi roşie, pe hârtie manuală. Cotorul cărţii este îmbrăcat cu piele de culoarea maro închis. Coperta a fost formată prin caşerare din tipărituri. Cartea este alcătuită cu cusătură pe trei nervuri din pergament. Nu s-a observat capital band. Tipăritura a suferit degradări mecanico-fizice, mai ales, pe zonele marginale, îndeosebi pielea de pe cotor şi cele patru colţuri. Cartea a trecut prin următoarele etape de restaurare: desfacerealegăturiipentrudesprinderea tipăriturilor, curăţare uscată prin radiere; curăţare umedă (spălare cu apă de robinet cu detergent neionic, clătire); consolidare prin reîncleiere; reîntregirea suportului cu hârtie japoneză prin technică dublă (adeziv 5% Glutofix 600-hidroxi- propil-metil-celuloză); coaserea blocului cărţii; confecţionarea forzaţurilor şi copertelor noi din carton neacid, învelit cu hârtia originală; reaşezarea pielii vechi, conservată cu soluţie emolientă, numită likker; restabilirea cărţii în forma iniţială. După restaurare, tipăriturile valoroase, scoase din copertă, au fost puse separat, într-un plic de protecţie. Astăzi, cartea restaurată, poate fi văzută în expoziţia de restaurare intitulată Valori restaurate ale tezaurului sacral. THE RESTAURATION OF THE MISSAE SANCTORUM FRANCISCANORUM OLD BOOK PUBLISHED IN VENICE, IN 1710 Abstract The book written in Latin was published at Venice, in 1710. It consists of handmade paper and was printed with black and red printing-ink. Its half-leather cover was made from manuscripts and prints. The body of the book was strung on a parchment stripe without a cap. The publication has undergone physical- technical damage during usage, especially the leather from the area of the bookspine and the edges. The book underwent the following restauration phases: the unbinding of the ligature in order to lift the manuscripts and prints; dry-cleaning; the underpinning of the pages with Japanese-paper in ’’double” way completion; the making of new endpaper and paper cover; the conservation of the old fragmented leather; the reshaping of the original form of the book. The manuscripts and prints found during restauration were placed in protective envelopes and were given a stock number.
