MUCKENHA UPT ERZSÉBET VOLUME ALE UNOR COLECŢIONARI DIN SECOLELE l6-19, PĂSTRATE ÎN COLECŢIA „BIBLIOTECA MAGHIARĂ VECHE” A MUZEULUI SECUIESC AL CIUCULUI Rezumat Cea mai mare parte a cărţilor maghiare din categoria „Biblioteca Maghiară Veche” (RMK) provine din bibliotecile a trei vechi instutuţii catolice ale Scaunului Ciuc: mănăstirea franciscană de la Şumuleu-Ciuc (108), Gimnaziul (13) şi Congregaţia „Sfântei Maria.” în anuarul muzeului din 2010 am prezentat cele mai valoroase legături istorice, ornamentate în stil gotic, renascentist şi baroc, ale Colecţiei „Biblioteca Maghiară Veche” a muzeului. Legăturile artistice reprezintă primul semn al provenienţei cărţilor. Pe baza însemnărilor şi a supralibrosurilor legăturilor, am identificat 155 de posesori. Aceştia sunt: persoane laice (nobili, învăţători, etc.), preoţi, călugări (franciscani, iezuiţi) şi mănăstiri, parohii, congregaţii religioase, şcoli şi biblioteci ale altor instituţii. Lucrarea prezintă colecţionarii din secolele 16-19, reprezentativi pentru cultura, istoria cărţii din Secuime şi din Transilvania. THE VOLUMES OF SOME 16-19™ CENTURY COLLECTORS IN THE “OLD HUNGARIAN LIBRARY” COLLECTION OF THE SZEKLER MUSEUM OF CIUC Abstract Most of the Hungarian books in the „Old Hungarian Library” (RMK) originate from the libraries of three catholic institutions of Ciuc Seat: the Franciscan monastery of Şumuleu- Ciuc/Cíksomlyó (108), the Gymnasium (13) and the Saint Mary Congregation. In the museum’s 2010 yearbook we have presented the most valuable historic bindings, with gothic, renaissance and baroque ornaments of the „Old Hungarian Library” Collection. The artistic bindings represent the first sign of the books’ provenance. Based on the notes of these bindings, we have identified 155 possessors. These are: laymen (nobles, teachers, etc.), priests, monks (Franciscans, Jesuits) and monasteries, religious parishes and congregations, schools and libraries of other institutions. The paper presents collectors from the 16-19th centuries, who were representative for the culture and book-history of Szeklerland and Transylvania. 138
