The development of working methods In the case of the Southern Zala field, the use of gas injection working was decided initially for the sake of achieving a suitable crude oil yield. Reinjecting a part of produced natural gas into the formation partially replenished reservoir energy as it depleted. 5 gas reinjection wells were set up in the Budafa field, oriented east to west along the ridge. Through these, reinjected gas was delivered to the Budafa, Zala, Bázakerettye, Alsó-Lispe, Felső-Lispe formations. In Lovászi, 4 gas injection wells were provisioned, sited along the backbone yet again, and gas was reinjected in the Lovászi and Alsó-Rátka formations. ^ The effects of gas injection are depicted by the extent of the yellow area on figure no. 12.
