KIÁLLÍTÁS - Bujdosó Győző: A Wendingen címlapjai 1918-1931

Strikingly few front pages are resembling to the genre-poster type favoured by Hungarian magazines, but the influences and parallels of Bauhaus graphic can be felt well. (A.D. Copier, 10.11.1930., „Statistical and sociological graphic", H.T. Zwiwers, 4.12.1931. issue.) Abstract, picturesque and individual is the Diego Rivera-issue of Vilmos Huszár (3.10.1929.) and El Lissitzky's Frank Lloyd Wright issue (11.4.1921.). They still fitted in well to the main line of Dudok-Wijdeveld. The magazine documents an age, a creative society, the connection of technique and artist. This latter is perhaps the most interesting: the relation of means and personal-individual. All purposes and deeds of the creators of Wendingen can be felt even today.
