broken in. The remains of the two neighbouring entrances to the church were rather damaged, and the arches of the cloister's vaulting could also be found. Details of the chapter house and the chapel attached to it at the turn of the 15-16th centuries were also found. The corners of the choir were flanked by buttresses, their foundations were also found in the course of excavating the Eastern side. The carved basement surrounding the church was almost uninjured in the part excavated. An important detail of the plan of the Carthusian church the great cloister's joining part to the Northern wall of the church and the base of the entrance to the church was also excavated. Still existing buttresses are only in this Northern side, they were pulled down in the 18th century and were later rebuilt. A wall was built before the Northern facade of the church. The sacristy attached to the Northern side of the church is also of Gothic origin, with a small apse on its Northern side. The next important task of the excavation of the convent is to make clear the situation of the Southern side cloister and the buildings surrounding it, and the plan of the Northern side of the church.
