MNM ELTE deposit: L 97/28 Hunyad county had been connected with the Romanian Kingdom through the Vulkán pass before the road of Szurduk was built. The peddler Vlachs selling their produce reached the customers of the Transylvanian villages along this road. In the picmre we can see the clothing of Romanian women and their plait hidden under a shawl as well as the men's black hat decorated with pearls, their sheepskin cap and ornamental leather belt coiled around their waists - these all represent the shepherds' traditional costume. 32.
