In Hungary it is very rare, data are originated from broad elevational spectrum (1801000m). Some data are morphologically ambiguous. According to DVORAK et al. (2006), it occurs at open habitats, as steppes, meadows, hillsides or urban areas. It is originated from south Europe, but it is spreading to norht-east. Mediterranean-pond Pannonian species (CETKOVIC 2002). Figure 13.: The distribution of P. bischoffi in Hungary Budapest: 27. VIII. 1979. ML (lm). Baranya county: Kovácsszénája, shore of the lake: 19. These are originated mainly from mountainuous and hilly areas from the northern half of the country. It doesn't occur below 100 m elevation. Some of the data from low regions are morphologically ambiguous. The data are in accordance with DVORAK & ROBERTS (2006), as it appears at higher altitudes, in mountain area. Boreo-montane species (PEKKARINEN & GUSTAFSSON, 1999). Montanesub-boreal species of the southern origin (CETKOVIC 2002).
