KOVÁCS J. ATTILA: A Tekeres-völgy (Déli-Bakony) növényzete
Summary Vegetation of the Tekeres-Valley (Southern-Bakony) - The author described 320 vascular taxa in the area, from which 37 are protected. From chorological and coenological points of view other 15-20 species worth special attention. Corridor-like, intermediate feature (between the Balaton-Uplands and the Northern-Bakony) of the Tekeres-Valley are strengthened by vigorous populations of the following species: Seseli leucospermum, Aethionema saxatile, Scilla autumnalis, Amelanchier ovalis, Cotinus coggygria, Paronychia cephalotes, Draba lasiocarpa, Fumana procumbens, Hepatica nobilis, Moehringia muscosa, Scabiosa canescens etc. Diversity of the vegetation and the speciality of the coenologic diversity are mainly determined by the characteristics of the dolomite-rock grasses and slope steppes: by the richness of stands and the presence of rare botanical values of Seseli leucospermi-Festucetum pallentis, Festuco pallenti-Brometum erecti-pannonici, Chrysopogono-Caricetum humilis plant associations. Other characteristics of the vegetation are the robustious stands of thinned submediterranian xerothem forest: Cotino-Quercetum pubescentis, Vicio sprasiflorae-Quercetum pubescentis which are in strong relation with the zonal Turkey oak forests (Quercetum petraeae-cerris) due to their coenologic circumstances. In the shady, cool, chinelike valleys a special unit of the mesophyl frondiferous forests, the dolomite conglomerate slope forest (Primulo veris-Tilietum platyphyllae) has survived. From phytogeographic point of view it is interesting, that these associations has thinned in the western region of the Southern-Bakony or in most places they could not live on as the atlantic effect got more intensive.
