AD) Hungarian National Museum, Budapest Open: 24 March 2002 - 30 June 2002 A temporary exhibition will be opened on 24 March 2002 in the Hungarian National Museum about the world fa­mous archaeological finds, found in 1799, in San Nicolau Mare, that time in the territory of Habsburg Monarchy, This is why one part of it became the treasure of Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, the other part remained in Hungary, as the most precious pieces of the Hungarian National Museum Collection. In 1844 on display was the whole treasure in Budapest, in the tem­porary exhibition of Museum of App­lied Arts, but for a long period it has not be shown in Hungary together. It can be visited between 26 February and 24 March 2002. A collector and his collection - Lajos Ernst Ernst Museum Open from 17 March 2002 till 28 April 2002. Temporary exhibition about an extra­ordinary character, Lajos Ernst, who was the owner and the curator of Ernst Museum as well, his life and the sto­ries of his collecting tell about a spe­cific but flourishing period of the Hungarian museum history. Romantic German Graphics and Watercolour Paintings Temporary exhibition from the collec­tion of Staatsgalerie (Stuttgart) in Mu­seum of Fine Arts. It can be visited from 16 March until 20 May 2002. Historicism and Biedermeier Selected Works from the Graphical Col­lection of Museum of Fine Arts. Open between 16 March and 20 May 2002. Capa: Face to Face - Pictures from the Spanish Civil War Temporary exhibition from the collec­tion of Museu Nációnál de Arte Re­­ina Sofia (Spain). It can be visited from 21 March till 20 May 2002, in the Hungarian National Gallery. Soul - Air - Picture The One-time Debrecen - Pictures of Zsigmond Móricz's book The joint exhibition of Déri Museum (Debrecen) and Petőfi Literary Mu­seum can be visited in Budapest from 15 March 2002. SZOMBATHELY Looking over the Border A joint temporary exhibition of Kunst­verein Baden and Kunsthalle Szom­bathely, which can be visited from 22 March until 29 April 2002. MOSONMAGYARÓVÁR The Habsburgs in Moson County Hanság Museum A small interesting exhibition about the Habsburg family, focused on Prince Frigyes, who was the citizen, owner and supporter of the city as well. Open till 1 June 2002. NEW PERMANENT EXHIBITION DEBRECEN Inhabitants of the Heavens Chapters from the history of Burials and Cults - Déri Museum The new part of the permanent exhi­bition based on the recent archaeolo­gical materials of rescue excavations between 1993-1998 and the famous old finds of Déri Museum. Curators: Zsigmond Hajdú, Emese Nagy, János Dani, Márta Sz. Máthé, Eszter Istvá­­novits, Ibolya M. Nepper, archaeologists. MUSEUMS ON THE INTERNET Stolen Objects - The Bible from Vizsoly Vizsoly is a small village and Protes­tant Church in North Hungary. In the church on display was a printed Bible from the 17th Cent, but it has been stolen on 25 January 2002.
