Corneille is Back Museum of Fine Arts Open between 16 May and 25 August 2002. Corneille spent a year in Hungary at the beginning of his carrier. Now he came back as the world famous member of COBRA Group which consists of the Dutch, Belgian and Danish avant-garde artists. On dis­play are 60 pieces from Corneille's oeuvre in the joint exhibition of Cobra Museum (Amstelveen) and Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest. It can be visited until the end of August. The History of the Hungarian Horse Race Museum of Hungarian Agriculture Open from 6 June till 26 August 2002. Contemporary Japanese Art Hopp Ferenc Museum - Museum of Asian Art Exhibition is supported by the Japanese Foundation, and can be seen till 2 June 2002. The Significance of Glass Museum of Applied Arts Open between 7 May 2002 until 7 May 2003. 150th Anniversary of János Csonka's Birth The joint memorial exhibition of Museum of Public Transport and the National Technical Museum. It can be visited until 20 June 2002, in the exhibition hall of the Museum of Public Transport. VÁC Sculptures of the Saints - Selected works from the Treasury of Catholic Church Episcopal Palace It can be visited from 31 May un­til 31 October 2002. SOPRON Long Live Riflemen! National Mining Museum On display are painted score-cards from the collection of the Slovaki­an Museum of Mining. The exhibition is open till 21 Au­gust 2002. GYŐR The three Mattis Teutsch Xantus János Museum, Römer Hall On display are the works of three generations (the grandfather János Mattis Teutsch, the son and the grandson Valdemar Mattis Teutsch) in Győr. Open till 4 August 2002. PÉCS Memorial Exhibition of Marcel Breuer designer 1902. Born in Pécs, 1981. died in New York. Temporary exhibition about the world famous Bauhaus designer - Breuer Marcel. INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS ITALY Anzio In the frame of Hungarian-Italian Cultural Year Enikő Gy ту (Hungar­ian ambassador to Italy), László Csor­ba (director of Hungarian Academy in Rome), Jenő Fitz, Paula Zsidi, Éva Petres, Klára Póczy archaeologists and Mihály Nagy (Ministry of the Natio­nal Cultural Heritage) laid flowers on the grave of Károly Torma archae­ologist (Kudu, 1829 - Porto d'An­zio 1897) in the cemetery of Anzio.
