Rövid tartalmi összefoglaló angol nyelven
Start must be made to sorting the documentary materials into cartons and expanding the archive collections. Education, the arts and public relations The tasks include contributing museum programmes to the world days (inaugurating the Radio Park at Diósd on World Telecommunications Day, and opening a Mail Art exhibition at Kaposvár on World Postal Day), assisting with founder companies’ events, and contributing to tasks requiring museum research (publications, renovation of buildings, interior decoration etc.) We intend to advertise a competition for school students tying in with Radio Day (May 17) in the Year of the Radio and with the opening of the Radio and Television Museum. Arts events (concerts and lectures) will be held in the museums for general and specialized branch groups. International relations We aim to expand the system of exchange relations and continue requesting and collecting radio and television materials from national broadcasters and equivalent museums abroad. The Foundation will take part in the 1995 general meetings of the MUT and the IATM. The postponed study trip to Nuremberg and Berlin will take place. Colleagues from museums abroad will be received. Five will be invited to the opening of the Diósd Museum. Direction and management The Deed of Foundation will be amended to reflect changes in the five years since the Foundation was established. We will press for the issue of director-generals’ instructions on mandatory archive deposits by branch organizations. If the new Museums Act comes into force, there will have to be a new set of regulations governing the operation of our museums and the handling of their collections. Economic and financial matters These are governed by the plan submitted to the founders on November 15, 1994. December 29, 1994 221
