Restoration and reconstruction

On the principle that only restored items, where applicable in working order, should be included in exhibitions, restoration in 1994 was concentrated mainly on items for the Radio and Television Museum at Diósd. Preservation work was slowed by the need to clean large numbers of new items. The same applied to conservation and rationalization. Four reconstructed items were made in museum workshops.

The Foundation’s museums held occasional exhibitions or lent material to exhibitions in other institutions on almost thirty occasions in 1994.
