Ius canonicum

320 SZABOLCS ANZELM SZUROMI, O.PRAEM. dovic Danto summarized the results of these significant considerations, pointing out the novelty of Pope Francis’ legislation as compared with the previous pontificates.* 4 This novelty - according to the above-mentioned experts - is not something new within the Catholic disciplinary texts, rather a modification of emphases within the canonical system.5 This is that appearance what can we see in the fields of the teaching and sanctifying mission of the Church, since March 13th 2013. In the following part, I would like to give an overview on the last almost seven years’ new disciplinary sources which have formed the current canon law of these particularly important activities of the Church6 regarding the themes of Book III and IV of the Code of Canon Law, except Book IV Title VII (marriage). I. Themes and documents Within the afore-mentioned two Books we can find the ministry of divine word (Cann. 756-780), the missionary action of the Church (Cann. 781-792), Catholic education (Cann. 793-821) - including schools, Catholic universities, other higher educational studies, and ecclesiastical universities Sacraments (Cann. 840-1054), other acts of divine worship (Cann. 1166-1204), and the theme of sacred places and times (Cann. 1205-1253). Based on this thematic I can list twenty different documents, which were promulgated by different authors (the Holy Father himself, or by his initiative some Congregations) and in different genres. This new legislation has introduced changes, modifications, or only further official affirmations regarding the Catholic education and ecclesiastical universities or faculties; inter-Church questions of baptism; material of the Holy Eucharist; interpretation of the Amoris Laetitia, Chapter VIII on the distribution of Holy Eucharist to those who are living in undisposed status; ongoing formation of confessors; liturgical texts, acts and feasts; ecclesiastical burial; supervision of shrines; and cessation of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei. avec la Fraternité saint Pie X; Burgun, C., L 'oeuvre legislative du papé Francois fait-elle grandir la synodalité dans l 'Eglise catholique? 4 Raad, E. - Danto, L., Conclusion des travawc et remerciements (Beyrouth, lerjuin 2018). 5 Cf. e.g., Arroba Conde, M.
