This new - fifth - Latin-Hungarian bilingual edition of the Code of Canon Law - which appeared again at the Saint Stephan Society Editing House - mediates accurately the codified Latin canon law together with updated international and valuable bibliography. Regarding the more detailed bibliography, the author refers his Hungarian canon law handbook which was published only few months before the edition of the Code, in 2014. It is well known that Pope Francis promulgated a new matrimonial process by his apostolic letter Mitis Index on September 8,h 2015 which modified at several places the canons of the Code of Canon Law. Naturally, this new norm could not take place in this edition of the Code. However, Card. Peter Erdő has made the Latin- Hungarian bilingual edition of this new norm, which has come into force on December 9lh 2015. This little booklet perfectly fits into the edition of the Code and following the crystallized terminology too, therefore it can be used in harmony with the revised edition of the Code. This renewed edition of the Code of Canon Law can be consulted easily, facilitated with a detailed index, moreover helps to understand the normative law of the Church with updated, clear, well balanced notes and comments. Therefore, the fifth edition of the Latin-Hungarian bilingual edition of the Code is an indispensable support for those who like to understand, interpret, applicate and to follow the authentic discipline of the Church with loyalty toward the Magiste- rium of the Church.
