Occurrence of philomelrid nematodes in barboid fishes 59 mid length. Intestine narrow, straight, displaced laterally, its posterior ends atrophied. Vagina and vulva absent. Ovaries situated in the anterior and posterior ends of the body making a loop and continuing into the uterus.
