In some postmature and pregravid proglottides cirrus-sac (Figs 3D, 4F) transformed into spherical body with thick muscular walls; then cirrus lost and only part of ductus ejaculatorius present (Fig. 3D). Narrow tubular structure, most probably terminal flagellum-like portion of cirrus, often observed in seminal receptacle. Evidently, the cirrus is normally broken during the course of the copulation.
