A.: Bivaly-májból és tüdőből származó Echinococcus granulosus protoskolexek fejlődése kutyákban A szerzők észak-indiai bivalyok májából és tüdejéből izolált fertilis E. granulosus hólyagokból 2 csoport (23 - 23 egyed) kölyökkutyát fertőztek egyenként 1000 - 1000 lárvával. A protoskolexek 65-96 %-a életképes volt, csak két kutyában (4 %) nem indultak fejlődésnek a férgek. A kísérlet 12-42. napja között felboncolt gazdaállatokban a férgek fejlődésének üteme a tüdőből izolált hólyagférgek esetében gyorsabb volt, mint a májból származóké. A szerzők a jelenség okaként táplálékfelvételi, metabolikus, esetleg genetikai különbséget feltételeznek. REFERENCES Cook, B. R.
