ABSTRACT. Cestode species Anoplocephaloides pseudowimerosa sp.n. and Andrya cuniculi (Blanchard, 1891) have been first recorded as parasites of Oryctolagus cuniculus (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lagomorpha) in Spain. Neoctenotaenia ctenoides (Railliet, 1890) has been found in a new locality. The differential diagnosis of A. pseudowimerosa sp.n. is given. Some confusion concerning the generic assignment of A. cuniculi (Blanchard, 1891) are discussed. There are very few records of cestodes parasitizing mammals of the family Leporidae in Spain (e.g. LOPEZNEYRA 1944, 1947, 1954; TARAZONA 1955; TENORA and CUTILLAS in press.). Of the collections of cestodes recovered from Oryctolagus cuniculus (collected in Granada and Cordoba) Anoplo cephaloides pseudowimerosa sp. n. is described and two other ones are reported as well. The material is deposited in the Zoological Department of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. RESULTS 1. Anoplocephaloides pseudowimerosa sp. n. Host: Oryctolagus cuniculus. Localization: small intestine. Locality: Granada (Spain), legit. Dr. A. VALERO. Intensity: 2 specimens. HOLOTYPE and PARATYPE in one slide, No. 2926/1982, deposited in the Cestode Collection of HNHM, Budapest. Description (all measurements in mm): Very small anoplocephalid composed of 12 segments, Strobila 3.4-3.6 long, width of 0.62 attained in 8th segment. The first 8-9th segments (premature and mature proglottides) are wider than long (0.320 x 0.100, 0.370 x 0.140, 0.460 x 0.250, 0.530 x 0.280, 0.540 x 0.300, 0.560 x 0.320, 0.620 x 0.320, 0.560 x 0.400), one often is quadrate-like (0.530 x 0.530). The last two segments are longer than wide (0.460 x 0.560, 0.430 x 0.680). Tegument of strobila troughout densely covered by very fine and thick spines (0.010 long). The trichia-like cover layer is very noticable on the edges of segments. Scolex rounded, 0.560 in diameter in diameter, suckers muscular 0.200 in diameter. Neck very short. Location of genital organs visible immediately behind the neck. Genital
