Head end oval, with three rounded lips and four submedial papillae. The inner papil­lär ring consist of four small papillae. Body length 3.30-3.50 mm, maximum width 0. 25 mm. Esophagus length 0.39-0.42 mm. Nerve ring 0.18-0.30 mm, excretory pore 0.56 mm and vulva 0.90 mm from head end. Tail length 0.30 mm. Eggs measure 0. 130-0. 140 x 0. 037­0. 040 mm. It parasitizes in the small intestine of the Apodemus species. It was reported from Apodemus agrárius, A. flavicollis and A. sylvaticus by POPESCU et al. (1974). In Roumania it was known until now from Citellus citellus, Mus musculus spicilegus, Apodemus sylvaticus, Microtus agrestis, and M. arvalis. Gongylonema neoplasticum (Fibiger and Ditlevsen, 1914) Host: Apodemus flavicollis. - Location: stomach. In one and only host 1 female specimen were found. POPESCU et al. (1974) mention it from Mus musculus spicilegus, Apodemus flavicollis, A. sylvaticus, and Microtus arvalis. Rictularia proni Seurat, 1915 (Fig. 16) Hosts: Apodemus flavicollis, A. sylvaticus. - Location: small intestine. A few female specimens were found in the two host species.
