Remarks: The species is primarily characterized by the long hairs of segment H; in the species-group with a spiniform hair lv"T no similar species has been known, Pygmephorus moreohorridus sp,n. Measurements. - Length: 380 u., breadth: 160 pu Dorsal side (Fig. 5): An unusually narrow species, with a small propodosoma. Dorsal and ventral sides with extremely large foveolae. Excepting hairs e2, f 2 and h, all dorsal setae characteristical, robust, thick, and though hairs ej and fj slightly thinner than the rest, also these obtusely and sparsely but robustly ciliate. Sensillus asymmetrical, no essential difference in length between hairs ro and in. Hairs e 2 standing far anterior to hairs ej, their included distances equal, both pairs smooth and thin. Hair f 2 similarly formed, but only half as long. Segment H with hi-h 2 closely adjacent, of equal length, hair hg removed, longer, ciliate.
