From third stage larvae the most developed ones leave first their normal habitat. These usually move to the nasal canals and may get outside . Some larvae may pupate in the throat or in the nasal canals, the bulk of them, however, does it outdoors on the ground. In case of very heavy infections some larvae may accomplish their development on the mucous membrane of an unu­sual site of the throat or of the larynx (Figs. 4 and 5).
