enclosed in a spherical cyst of 6-12 mm in diameter on the liver surface of the intermediate host.Length of larva 30-110 mm. Scolex with four suckers, 560 u in diameter, and a double circle of hooks composed of 32-36 hooks. Small hooks 24-0-280 u, large ones 420-465 u (MURAI,1972; MURAI and TENORA, 1973a).The growth of the larval hooks of H. taeniaeformis , collected also from M. arvalis, was shown by the authors (see the above mentioned papers) . Larva of Tetratirotaenia polyacantha (Leucart, 1856) Intermediate host: Clethrionomys glareolus. - Localities: Zajk, Lillafüred (20 larvae collected from the body cavity of a C . glareolus by I. VÁSÁRHELYI, 1 June, 1930 were given to Professor KOTLÁN) .Despite the fact that the larva has been known only from two localities, this tapeworm is assumably not sarce in the hills of our country. Several adult specimens were recovered from fox in Hungary by MURAI and TENORA (1973a). Description of the larval stage: Length 5 mm. Cordato-oval-shaped, with invaginated scolex bearing four suckers and a double circle of hooks. Suckers 250 yu, number of hooks 64, length of small hooks 120-124, large ones 208-216 p. The shape of the hooks are characteristic (Pig. IP). Larva of Cladotaenia globifera (Batsch, 1786) Intermediate host: Clethrionomys glareolus. - Localities: Comitats Vas, Zala, Veszprém and Győr-Sopron.Localization : liver. - Extensity and intensity: 1*3%» 5-50 larvae. The adult worm had been found in Hungary in a Buteo buteo at Szentgál by the First Hungarian Parasitological Expedition (MURAI, 1972; MURAI and TENORA, 1973a). 126
