PAHDE (1935b) described this species from India under the name Pycnoporus loossi . In DUBOIS' s opinion (i960) it is synonymous with P. acetabulatus Looss, 1899­Pycnoporus macrolaimus (Linstow, 1894) Host: Hipposideros ater (Ko.); Localization: intestine. Only one damaged specimen found. Pleurogenidae Looss, 1899 Maxbraunium baeri Roh.de, 1964 - (Pig. 17) Host: Myotis siligorensis (Gh.); Localization: intestinum. Rohde (1963) described this species from Malaysia. India is the second locality of this fluke.
