This apeciea was found firat in North Vietnam by the author (MATSKÁSI, 1973).The apecimena collected in India agree in morphology and measurements with those described from Vietnam. The species occurs in the high mountains (Himalaya) in India as in Vietnam. The bat la io collected in Cherrapunjee (in the foreground of the Himalaya)was infected with one trematode specimen only, while the two Myotis species were infected with 4-6 flukes . Localization: small intestine; Intensity: 1 exemplar Measurements in yu: Body length: 1920; maximal width: 512; oral sucker: 192x176; ventral sucker: 57x83; ventral sucker + accessory sucker length: I66; testes: 243x147, and 236x132; ovary: 192x217; cirrus-sac: 608x96; eggs: 19x10. Diagnosis: A medium sized trematode with elongated body. Tegument covered with very fine spines. Ventral sucker subterminal. Pharynx followed by short oesophagus. The two caeca approaching oral surface of testes. Ventral sucker connected with accessory appendages characteristic of the genus. The two sphaerical testes situated laterally in the second part of the body.Ovary immediatelly behind accessory sucker. Vitellaria situated on both sides of body. Follicles commencing anteriorly of ovary and terminating at testes. Shape of cirrus-sac a specific feature: the elongated, curved, sacculiform organ begins close by the ovary, arching beside ventral sucker, and terminating at preacetabular genital pore; its distal part thinner than proximal one. Uterus with relatively few whorls, filling space between ovary and end of body.
