SZÁM Summary József Köblös „ME POSSIDET NICOLAUS BÉKÉS” Manuscript notes in the copy of Catechism of Heidelberg preserved in Pápa PUBLISHED BY DÁVID HUSZÁR IN 1577 Studies in Reform History of Hungary reveal that the Catechism of Heidelberg was translated into Hungarian by Dávid Huszár a clergyman from Pápa in 1576. The manuscript was published by the son of the clergyman, Gál Huszár in Pápa in 1577. Two copies survied: one is kept in Széchenyi National Library in Budapest the other is in the Library of Reformed Collections of Pápa. The one kept in Pápa was purchased in 1718 by a reformed teacher Miklós Bekes serving in the neighbourhood of Pápa from an unknown person who handed it on to János Eőry (1727- 1807) the general superintendent of the Reformed Church of Pápa who then in 1800 presented it to the library of the Reformed College of Pápa. Several notes can be found in the empty pages of the small book most of them taken by Miklós Bekes. The author of the current study publishes these data concerning family affairs, Latin common sayings, notes of theology and history, and mathematical calculations.-s 246 =-
