Organisation of the Institute of Anthropology. Lectures held as senior lecturer, then appointed head of department. 1945- 1949: Head of the Anthropological Team of the Ethnographical Institute (Teleki Pál Scientific Institute) in Budapest. 1946- 1952: Teaching anthropology for students of ethnography and archaeology at the University of Sciences in Budapest. 1948-1953: Teaching anthropology for biology students at the University of Sciences in Debrecen. 1948-1962: Employee of the Department of Anthropology at the Hungarian Natural History Museum. 1954-1967: Editor of the Pars Anthropologica section of Biológiai Közlemények (Anthropologiai Közlemények section of Biológiai Közlemények after 1956, independent Anthropologiai Közlemények after 1957). 1956: Receiving Candidate of Biological Sciences degree as an acknowledgement of his scientific activity. 1958-1961: Member of the Anthropological Topic Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. 1962: Returning to Debrecen, Department of Anthropology at the Kossuth Lajos University. 1963-1967: Head of department and full professor at the Kossuth Lajos University in Debrecen. 1966: Chairman of the Anthropological Section of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. th October, 1968 in Budapest.
