Diagnostic features - Both male and female imagoes can be easily recog­nized by the forewing with very long single intercalary veins (reaching or almost reaching the crossveins in the cubital field) (Fig. 1) and a broad hindwing with two longitudinal veins and a single well developed and erected costal spur (Figs 2-3). The male gonopods have a basal segment with an apico-internal process, the first and second segments almost fused, but with the first segment apically constricted, the third segment oval and elongated, and a peculiar bifid sclerotized process be­tween the gonopods (Fig. 4).
