dex took up its place in the region of dolichokrany . Skulls according to the percentage based distribution of the length-height index most often turned out to be medium high (orthokran), the mean value fell within the low (chamaekran) region, close to the limit of orthokrany. According to the width-height index a high (akrokran) skull was the most frequent, but medium high (metriokran) skulls also had a significant percentage. The mean value fell within the akrokran interval, on the limit of metriokrania/akrokrania. On the basis of the transversal-frontoparietal index a medium (metriometop) forehead was the most frequent, its mean value also occured within the region of metriometopia. Medium large (euenkephal) and large (aristenkephal) cranial capacities had an equal frequency, with the mean value in the upper third of euenkephaly. Medium high faces and upper faces (mesoprosop, mesen) were outstandingly frequent. The mean values of facial and upper facial indices fell within the mesoprosop and mesen regions. Orbital cavities were medium high. Nasal widths were most often wide (chamaerrhin), wide according to the mean value too (Tables 7-8). When analysing morphological data we could state that men had a uniform brain-case. It was oval-shaped in top-view, the occipital bone had an arched profile, the forehead was steeply arched. Half the cases had rounded, the other half angular orbital cavities. Spina nasalis anterior was most often small. Apertúra piriformis had an exclusively anthropin character. Most frequently the nasal cavity was narrow. Fossa canina was shallow in more than half (60%) of the cases (Table 9). Individual cranial and long bone measurements were published in Tables 10 and 11. The average stature of men was 169.8 cm (Table 12). The distribution of their stature can be found in Table 13. Fig. 4. Kaposvár Road 61, Site No. 26: Connected life expectancy curve
