Papp, J.: Eleven new Eubazus Nees species from the Neotropical region (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Brachistinae)
female damaged: left antenna with 22 and right antenna with 17 antennomeres). Head in dorsal view 1.75-1.8 times as broad as long. Hind femur 3.8-4 times as long as broad distally (1 2: 3.8 2 Ç: 4 times). Description of the male paratype - Similar to the female types. Body 4 mm long. Antenna a bit longer than body, penultimate flagellomere just twice as long as broad. Head in dorsal view 1.75 times as broad as long, eye slightly longer than temple. Hind femur four times as long as broad distally. Dark pattern of body dark brown to blackish. Fore femur + tibia + tarsus dirty white. Host unknown. Distribution - Honduras. Remarks - The new species, Eubazus (Brachistes) rugulosus, is nearest to E. (Brachistes) albicoxa sp. n., their distinction is presented in the key (subsequent to the descriptions of the new species), couplets 10(11)-1 1(10). Eubazus (Brachistes) teres sp. n. $(5* (Figs 104-114) Material examined (3 9$ + 1 <$). - Female holotype and one female + one male paratypes: "Argentina, prov. Rio Negro, El Bolsón, holotype 13 November 1961 (loc. no. 724)", one female paratype "25 October 1961 (loc. no. 655)", one male paratype "15 October 1961 (loc. no. 628), leg. Gy. Topái". One female paratype: "Costa Rica, leg. H. Schmidt". Female holotype and two paratypes (1 2 +1 c?) (from Argentina) are deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Department of Zoology), Budapest, Hym. Typ. Nos 10715 (holotype) and 10716-10717 (paratypes); one female paratype (from Costa Rica) in the Museum i Instytut Zoologii PAN, Warsaw. Condition of the female holotype fairly good: (1) glued on a pointed card by its mesosternum between coxae 1—2, (2) left antenna missing, (3) fifth tarsomere of right middle leg missing, (4) left hind tarsus a little sticky. One female paratype: (1) glued on a pointed card by mesosternum, (2) both antennae damaged and left middle tarsus missing. One female paratype (in Warsaw): (1) micropinned, (2) fore right femur + tibia + tarsus and right pair of wings missing. One male paratype: (1) glued ventrally on a card, (2) left antenna damaged. Etymology - The species name "teres" refers to the chubby corporal form of the new species. Description of the female holotype - Body 3.2 mm long. Antenna as long as body and with 30 antennomeres (left antenna missing). First flagellomere 3.3 times and penultimate flagellomere 1.75 times as long as broad. - Head in dorsal view (Fig. 104) transverse, 1.75 times as broad as long, eye short, temple. 1.25 times as long as eye, temple rounded. Ocelli middle-sized, elliptic, OOL 1.5 times length of POL. Occiput feebly excavated. Eye in lateral view high, 1.9 times as high as wide, temple beyond eye as wide as eye. Clypeus three times as wide as high, its ventral margin truncate and laterally weakly pointed (Fig. 105). Head polished, face finely hairpunctate, clypeus punctate. Mesosoma in lateral view 1.4 times as long as high. Notaulix narrow, deep, crenulate. Prescutellar furrow with three strong crenulae, between crenulae rugulose. Precoxal suture missing. Mesoscutum, scutellum and mesopleuron polished, fore and hind margins of mesopleuron crenulate.
