Buhl, P. N.: Platygastridae (Hymenoptera) from Mongolia

Suchebator aimak, river Baján gol, 85 km NE of Somon Dariganga, 1100 m, 8.VIII. 1965; 1 female, Midgobi aimak, Choot bulag, between Chuld and Delgerchangaj, 1480 m, 13.VII.1967; 1 male, Bajanchongor aimak, Cagan Bogd ul, Tooroin bulag 13 km E of border post Caganbulag, 1500 m, 24^1.1967^. Remarks - Close to S. euryale (WALKER, 1835), but this species has female A5 not longer than A6, scutellum in lateral view less convex, propodeal carinae more convex, and it has female T3-T6 longer and T6 less transverse than S. vulgaris, cf. VLUG (1985). S. vulgaris differs from S. involulus KlEFFER, 1926 e.g. in sculpture of head, and from S. daucicola KlEFFER, 1916 in having A8-A9 transverse, and from both last mentioned species in length of OOL, cf. KlEFFER ( 1926). Synopeas spp. Remarks - A couple of species very similar to S. deniiscutellaris (SZABÓ, 1979), S. hyllus (WALKER, 1835) etc. were not placed, as well as a couple of species similar to S. vulgaris sp. n. Further material is needed to be more certain of their status. Trichacis sp. Material examined - 1 male, Central aimak, Ulan-Baator, Nucht in Bogdo ul, 1650-1950 m, 4.VI.1966.
