DISCUSSION The first part of the catalogue includes 30 species from 9 families and 6 or­ders. The majority of the species is present in the Hungarian avifauna as breeders or may occur during winter, e.g. Black-throated Diver (Gavia arctica). The collec­tion includes some exotic species such as Rockhopper Penguin (Eudyptes chryso­come) or Black-headed Ibis (Threskiornis melanocephalus) which died in zoologi­cal gardens.
