Quickeos gen. n. (Figs 117-122) In his paper on SZEPLIGETI' s non-European Braconinae species QuiCKE (1991: 170) pointed out that Atanycolus luteus SZEPLIGETI "belongs to an undescribed genus". The species has been described by SZEPLIGETI (1901: 362) from "Molukken", a district of islands currently a part of Indonesia. In 1906 (p. 563) SZEPLIGETI compiled a key to the Ipobracon Thomson species of the Indo-Australian Region ("III. und IV. Region") and within this key he has transferred his species in this genus. Up to now the species Atanycolus —» Ipobracon luteus (SZEPLIGETI) is represented only by its female holotype (designated by me in 1968) and deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. On my request D. L. J. QuiCKE was kind enough to re-examine the holotype specimen of Atanycolus luteus and in his letter (October 1997) to me he disclosed a fairly detailed generic distinction of the new genus which he ranged in the Atanycolus genusgroup, a member of the subfamily Braconinae. In the establishment of the new genus I essentially follow QuiCKE's argumentation. The new genus is nearest to Paxillibracon QuiCKE, 1985 and the two genera are differentiated by the features keyed: 1 (2) Fore wing: J-SR-M curved (Fig. 1:1 in QuiCKE 1985: 118), cu-a slightly postfurcal, 3-CU1 thickened and twice as long as CUlb (Fig. l:k in QuiCKE 1985: 118).
