Rishwanius soesilae (MAKHAN, 1994), comb. n. (Figs 3, 13-16) Hydrochus .soesilae MAKHAN, 1994b: 40. Type. Holotype in Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin, Germany. This specimen is from Paraguay. Distribution. Argentina and Paraguay. Diagnosis. Holotype male. Body elongate oval, length 2.4 mm, width 0.9 mm. Colour of head, pronotum, scutellum and elytra brown, with blue-green metallic gloss and with large brown striai punctures. Head with coarse punctures. Pronotum longer than wide, lateral area smooth, on disc with 7 deep depressions; 3 large and suboval depressions of them situated in the middle, 2 large suboval ones along each lateral side. Elytra widest at middle, lateral area smooth, striai punctures wider than interstriae. Interstriae slightly convex, apical hole absent. Elytral length 1.6 mm. Male genitalia (Fig 16): páraméra longer than basal piece, median lobe shorter than páraméra. Remarks. This species is smaller than Rishwanius richten (BRUCH). R. soesilae (MAKHAN) is a brown species while in R. richten (BRUCH) the head, pronotum and scutellum are black and the elytra are brown. Figs 13-15.
