Type species: (Scolia radu­la FABRICIUS, 1775) = Sphexplumipes DRURY, 1770 Dielis SAUSSURE et SICHEL, 1864 Disc of the male clypeus yellow on the sides; metasternum of the female tumid along mid line, rounded but somewhat crest-like, mid dorsal area of the propodeum not bordered behind, but equiped with a rather obtuse tubercle, lateral carina of propodeum continuous, reach the posterior declivity of the propodeum. - Nearctic and Neotropical Regions. Type species: Tiphia dorsata FABRICIUS, 1787 Haralambia gen. n. 141 Scutellum of the male completely black; abdomen of the female also entirely black, both spurs of the hind tibia white. - Afrotropical Region.
